We are honored to have Dr. Vanessa Santiago Schwarz as the leader of the other inner circles! She and Jasmin have worked together since 2010. She is not only trained in all of the Jasmin Balance modalities, but she has significant professional training and experience otherwise.

Dr. Schwarz is an educational professor, teacher/parent educator, and mother to two young children. In both her role as a mother and scholar, Vanessa is committed to social justice and inclusive everyday practices.

By connecting a mindfulness practice with her professional expertise, Vanessa offers tools for engaging in “brave conversations,” or dialogues about uncomfortable topics.

She has a Master’s degree in Bilingual and Special Education and a doctorate in Educational Equity and Cultural Diversity. Her work focuses on humanizing approaches to address controversial and taboo topics in order to create a more just and equitable world.
